My Lighthouse ("My Lighthouse: Know yourself") is a private mood and life journal for iPhone. Users pick up to five "pillars" — the areas of life that matter most this year — and check in each evening, or weekly, on how life is actually going. Journal entries are encrypted on the device before they sync; an AI companion called the Keeper reads each user's own journal to write monthly letters, and is bound by published rules including a crisis protocol and a no-training guarantee. My Lighthouse is built in the UK by Synquire Ltd and has been on the App Store since 2023.

What makes it different
- Kind by design: no streaks, no red marks, no guilt. On a bad day, one word is enough. This is doctrine learned from real users who quit apps that punished their worst days.
- An AI with published rules: the Keeper reads only the user's own journal, must speak plainly, is forbidden from guilt, defers to crisis services, and never trains on user data. The rules are public.
- A yearly practice, not a daily score: pillars are chosen for the year; the app builds toward monthly letters and an annual picture, not a daily grade.
